O2 Unify tendered and won the contract to refresh Network Rail’s LAN/WLAN.
As Technical Architect, Graeme led the technical design for the bid and implementation covering LAN/WLAN/ALB/WAAS/FW/IPS for 240 sites and 2 DC and performed the following activities:
- Collected requirements and understood existing environment
- Engaged with stakeholders and refined technical design
- Presented design and agreed implementation strategy
- Attended ongoing project meetings providing leadership and direction
- Incorporated new requirements and updated design.
This project successfully enabled Network Rail’s network infrastructure refresh achieving 20% TCO reduction over 5 years.
